I’m a journalist with a pop culture sweet tooth.

From freaking out on the night that Kim and Kanye announced their first pregnancy in 2012, to celebrating Meghan and Harry's royal wedding, and rolling across my living room floor in excitement during Beyonce's Homecoming, pop culture icons have always had my undivided attention.

I’m currently an Assistant Editor at Oprah Daily, where I write a variety of lifestyle content for one of Hearst’s most meaningful brands, and have assisted with our founder’s monthly livestreams.

Before joining the company, I put my broadcast background to use as freelance talent/an associate producer for Happy Charlie Media, a company that creates content for broadcast and OTT platforms. I helped produce a political segment called "Right. Left. Together.," which aired nationally on the TV show Right This Minute during the fall of 2021. I managed all of the segment's social media accounts and sourced elements/helped with rights and clearances for our work.

I also was a freelance TV reporter for the show Chasing News, which aired weeknights on FOX 5 in New York and My 9 in New Jersey until its cancellation early in the pandemic.

Prior to that, I completed an editorial fellowship at Arianna Huffington's behavioral change company Thrive Global in New York City. I wrote stories on what we can learn from celebrities, as well as pieces on the latest service-based research. I also built and optimized 10+ syndicated pieces daily on WordPress, wrote four newsletters a week, curated articles for the Thrive mobile app, and more.

I joined Thrive after working as a reporter for Ladders News, where I wrote more than 800 stories about how we live and work, covered events, and interviewed authors about their latest career-related books. I also worked as an Assistant Virtual Reality Producer at Reuters after college.

Additionally, I interned at CNBC Global Headquarters for four summers — before and during my undergraduate years — through The Emma Bowen Foundation. I received a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Sociology from American University in Washington, D.C.
